This instance is run by Andrea Fontana and offered for free, with no account and no registration. Using it means reading these few lines; there is nothing to sign and nothing to accept.
No warranty
The service is provided as it is, without any warranty and without any promise that it will be available, reachable, or working at a given moment. Rooms expire, an exchange can fail halfway, and the instance can be restarted or shut down with no notice.
A secret that does not arrive is lost: there is no copy anywhere to recover it from. Do not use this service as the only channel for something you cannot afford to send twice. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, and do not use it to harm the service itself: no automation aimed at working around the rate limits, at keeping rooms open in bulk, or at making the instance unusable for other people. The operator may refuse, limit, or interrupt the service at any time, including without notice.
What the operator cannot do
Secrets are encrypted in your browser, and the server only relays bytes it has no key for. The operator cannot read what passes through, cannot hand it over, and cannot take it down afterwards: once a room is picked up or expired, the payload is gone from memory and no longer exists anywhere. A request to remove or disclose the content of an exchange can only be answered this way.
This is a property of how the service is built, not a policy that could be relaxed on request.
The software and this instance
The source code is open and governed by its own licence, which is the only thing that applies to it. These terms concern this instance alone. If you run your own, they are yours to write.

Nessuna garanzia
Il servizio è fornito così com'è, senza alcuna garanzia e senza alcuna promessa che sia disponibile, raggiungibile o funzionante in un dato momento. Le stanze scadono, uno scambio può fallire a metà, e l'istanza può essere riavviata o spenta senza preavviso.
Un segreto che non arriva è perduto: non esiste da nessuna parte una copia da cui recuperarlo. Non usare questo servizio come unico canale per qualcosa che non puoi permetterti di inviare due volte. La responsabilità è limitata nei limiti massimi consentiti dalla legge.
Uso accettabile
Non usare il servizio per attività illecite, e non usarlo contro il servizio stesso: niente automazioni pensate per aggirare i limiti di frequenza, per tenere aperte stanze in massa o per rendere l'istanza inutilizzabile agli altri. L'operatore può rifiutare, limitare o interrompere il servizio in qualsiasi momento, anche senza preavviso.
Cosa l'operatore non può fare
I segreti sono cifrati nel tuo browser, e il server si limita a inoltrare byte di cui non ha la chiave. L'operatore non può leggere ciò che transita, non può consegnarlo e non può rimuoverlo a posteriori: una volta che la stanza è stata ritirata o è scaduta, il contenuto sparisce dalla memoria e non esiste più da nessuna parte. A una richiesta di rimozione o di divulgazione del contenuto di uno scambio si può rispondere solo così.
È una proprietà di come il servizio è costruito, non una politica che possa essere allentata su richiesta.

Il codice sorgente è aperto e regolato dalla propria licenza, che è l'unica cosa che lo riguarda. Questi termini riguardano soltanto questa istanza. Se ne gestisci una tua, i termini li scrivi tu.
